Dull beyond words............

Stephen King`s worst book ever-and he has written some stinkers-turned into a tv movie with no scares and full of typical King tripe of the worst sort-teen angst, personal issues, being bullied blah blah blah-see also The Mist.......avoid at all costs.....here in the UK when the book came out in 1986,i eagerly awaited my copy,i read it then threw it away...one UK newspaper review said.."Once again Stephen King wants to be Ernest Hemingway and write The Great American Novel-once again,he has failed on all points and-once again-is more like that writer of vacuous, flaccid, verbose potboilers-Harold Robbins".......says it all....for every great novel King wrote,he wrote 3 stinkers to nullify his best work.

There are a lot of people on this board who would disagree with you.

But why would you waste your time posting on a board when you hate the movie?

I intend to live forever.
So far, so good.

Thank you bobbiekaye! What's the point? And also It is probably King's deepest and most frightening novel at least for me :) and I've read many of them. Looking forward to the theatrical adaptation

I agree, thatgingerkid. I occasionally watch a movie that I absolute despise, and I never go to the IMDb page for that movie. I just try to forget it!

If you haven't read them yet, The Stand and 11/22/63 are the other two of what I consider King's top three novels!

I intend to live forever.
So far, so good.
