'I come in peace'
I justt want to know if there is any significance to this phrase to the actual movie?
The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world that he did not exist

Yeah man - you mean you haven't seen it!? Blasphemy!!
**POSSIBLE SPOILER**
It's been a while, but what I remember is... without too much of a spoiler, two aliens end up on Earth in human form - they're massive, but still human looking. The 'good' alien, an intergalactic cop of sorts, is tracking down the 'bad' alien, who looks to up his illegal drug business. He does this by extracting a certain fluid from the human brain, triggered by an overdose of heroin (or coke, I can't remember).
In the movie, when this 'bad' alien finds a victim, his calling card is saying to them "I come in peace" - which is ironic seeing that he's about to force feed them an overdose of drugs through a freaky tube / spear thing (much akin to Scorpions spear from Mortal Kombat, I always thought . . . ), and then skewer their head to suck out the 'alien' drugs.
It's almost kinda weird, the way he keeps saying "I come in peace", but just continues tearing sh*t up. Dolph deliveres a classic variation of this line at the end of the movie - cheesy enough to be hilarious. Worth a 99 cent rental when you have the time!
I get the irony but it just seems a rather crap saying but thanx for answering it

this phrase was to repersent how the devil will try to convince you that doing his work(taking your focal from the truth, god). in similance, the bad alien tries to convince his victims everything is alright, that he has no harmful intention and then kills them. not very tactfull or inconspicuis method he used.
