I don't want a sequel where Kevin is a grandpa
I mean it will be very depressing. Because if you think about it, if he's unable to take care of himself (perhaps due to dementia and other age/health related problems), and he's forgotten at home, it will not be funny but rather depressing. Because the audience will say "what if I am like that when I reach that age?" Personally I would rather die than be in a condition that I become a burden to others (I mean that). Also if Kevin has dementia and other health related problems, I highly doubt that he'll be able to fight burglars. Therefore a sequel where Kevin is a grandpa, at least for me will be depressing. Plus if Home Alone is meant to be a kids movie, if the main character is a grandpa with health problems, I don't think that's a good kids movie.
