In the scene that the McCallisters were leaving for the airport outside the house, Frank says to Peter "there is no way that we are going to make this flight, it leaves in 45 minutes". And Peter says "think positive Frank", and Frank says "you think positive, I'll think realistic", or something like that, they get to the airport and they asked "did we miss the flight:, and the woman replies that they have just made it. Wouldn't it have been funny if Peter had turned around to Frank and say "told you so", you know how a little kid that think he has won a bet. Yes I am aware that Peter and Frank are adults, but wouldn't that have been funny if he had said the to Frank?

Because he doesn't think it would have been funny and nor do I, it would have been pointless. You asked if it would have been funny and we're merely telling you no it wouldn't. What's to explain?

Would've been more funny if he said it in a funnier way like "now what was it you said to me as we were leaving the house?" Now that would've been funny, no matter what the idiot responders think.
