Did you really believe that story Buzz told about Marley?
During the opening scene? I did tbh. But then again, I was pretty young when I saw it in 1990. Then I figured out he may be the one who saves Kevin from Harry and Marv.

shareNo. I always thought he was just trying to scare his brother and cousin.
shareNo his story like most urban legends was full of holes from the beginning. Everyone knows he's crazy yet the police couldn't find evidence even inside his ice bucket?
share1 million percent agree on what you were saying. But it was a garbage can. Not ice bucket. And it had salt inside. Not ice. But yes if that's where he kept his victims, the police would surely find his victims.
shareI was a teenager when I first saw Home Alone. I didn't believe anything Buzz said because I knew he was saying it to scare Kevin.

I can't even remember the first time I watched it since I was 6 years old and am now in my early 30s. But I might have. Though upon rewatching, I agree with The_Stranggler. There's no way he murders someone and puts them into a trash can in plane view without someone noticing. Also if he had murdered everyone on the block, I think the police would think he was the prime suspect and arrest him and get him convicted without a reasonable doubt.
shareWhen I first saw the movie I was 11. I kind of believed it, but I also had my doubts about it. I always doubted that a serial killer would shovel snow.
shareYeah, when I was like 9 years old I was like O.O what a very scary guy, but then when he met Kevin at the church later in the movie, he wasn't so bad.
shareWhat questioned me is the following. If he kept his victims in the can full of salt, of course the cops would have ordered him to empty the can, and they would see the bodies in the can. So it really made no sence when Buzz said that they never found the bodies.
