It is quite disturbing and definitely creepy in parts. It seemed so realistic

Being based on an actual serial killer ... I guess it feeling realistic was a job well done on their part.

Although loosely based on Henry L Lucas and Otis T. it has always resonated with me, it just is what it is without any morality ; here are their actions, deal with it yourself (as one reviewer noted). And it crept me out as a kid.

I'd try to catch it every time it came on cable. I rented it, & couldn't tell you how many times I watched.
