'As best as I can tell - it might be The Grift; a song composed by John Beal specifically for The Grifters' trailer. Beal is a prolific composer of film trailers, and apparently has an album due out of just that... His trailer themes. The Grift is listed as one of them.
However, I personally have not seen (or heard), Beal's name directly linked to the actual music in question.'
