Why didn't Myra take a crowbar to Lilly's car trunk?

Myra goes to all the trouble of blowing Lilly out to Bobo when she could have broken into her car in the dead of night and stolen all the money. She screwed up royally.

There is no "off" position on the genius switch.

She didn't really want the money, she wanted revenge.

Absolutely.

She was going to take the money, no doubt about that, but what she really wanted was to make Lily pay.

I'm just a realist. If she restrained her emotions, she could have had the money AND survived.
