Was that Annette or a body double in the scene where they show the blood pack attached to her bra (before scamming the Texas oil man with her 'murder')? In her nude scenes her breasts seem smaller than in the bra scene. Or ... ?

Good observation - I had the same thought, but it could have been a "push-up".
Do you know of any other films where she plays a similar role or character?

The scene in the morgue briefly shows the naked breast of Myra. They seem to be too large for Bening, when compared to her breasts in the landlord sex scene. Is this a body double? If so, who is the babe, the breasts were kind of nice looking...

I love this site, but 12 yr old boys posts about boobs, juvenile sex fantasies, naked scenes, is just tiresome. I hope you all grow up and are embarrassed by your lack of substance or depth. But I doublt you will.

I agree. I don't think there's anything remotely wrong about commenting on how beautiful or even 'hot' an actress is, which is why I clicked on this thread (Annette did look fantastic in this film, as she did in 'Valmont') but some of the practically anatomical comments about her naked body are quite nasty and a few comments are borderline disturbing (commenting on the breast size of a body-double in the morgue scene and so on).

It's not so much 'lack of substance or depth' (most women like men are mainly attracted to good-looking people) but the crudity and sexist objectification in the way some posters are describing Bening and Huston's bodies.

Yeah, I just watched the movie for the first time last night and I was like WOW Annette Bening's nipples and bush!! Mr. Beatty is a lucky dog. It was shocking like seeing Reese Witherspoon's tatas within the first few minutes of Twilight or Anne Hathaway's in Havoc.

She is really cute and sexy in this. She also looks great in another film from around this time, Valmont. She was a gorgeous teenager/college girl. You can probably find some pics online.

unfortunately her skin has sagged and aged a lot. back then it was s taut and had great color and firmness. but she's damn 50 now and has had 4 kids so i shoudl shut up. she's still attractive. but valmont and the grifters she was beyond gorgeous. now she is so-so.

Yes, she's very good and commited in the part. I think it was only her second major role, and I'm sure they told the actresses auditioning that nudity was an important componant of this particular character. So if she wanted the part, which is a GREAT one, she wouldn't have been in a position to disagree.

I myself wasn't surprised to see her in some nude scenes here. She was a serious stage actress from gritty New York City, and never struck me as uptight.

I've liked her character a lot, both the way she acts and the way she plays the sexy lady.
At the end, she's unliky of not founding the rigght man, the right partner and she dyes.
