It sounds like the beginning and end are the only differences. Like a waste of time it sounds like.

I watched the whole thing and barely any differences. Ridiculous that they thought this warranted a cinema release and a new title. It's called 'The Death of Michael Corleone' but ironically this is one of the things they cut out.

Yeah I was interested in seeing it and almost went to see it in theaters just because I figured it would be cool to see a GF movie on the big screen even if it's the worst one. After hearing it's barely different im not sure if ill even bother until I find time to sit down and watch the whole trilogy again.

I believe Coppola has said it's when the daughter is murdered that Michael dies.

Well we already had that scene in the original version so not sure what the point was of the name change like this was a completely different version of the movie. It was pretty much the same.
