This movie was really borderline to PG-13 not only because of language but because of the theme. I saw it as a very young kid however and wasn't affected by it at all so maybe the PG is fine.
shareFilm ratings weren't as strict back then. Poltergeist, Temple of Doom, and Jaws are PG as well.
