differences from book to movie

I have to say I really liked this movie..and I know for time limits they couldn't include everything in the book to the movie..

But what I thought was weird is they never showed any of his work..his trips to paris etc..their romance was a little rushed. Also Mrs. Pippin shows up in the movie slightly early. In the book she comes after the death, and after several nannies that were terrible. Also, in the book Bernie's father was not dead, in the movie he is, I don't believe they should of done that considering he was a big part of the story when Liz got sick.

Just thought they could of spend more times on some more important parts..everything felt rushed.

One obvious one is the discovery of Liz's cancer. In the book it comes months after the birth and she figures she is tired from nursing. In this movie it's discovered right after birth. Also, in the book the doctor's name is Megan not Molly and she's described as being very tall and black hair. Then the whole Chandler Scott deal is different in the book. In the book he is killed in a shootout whereas in the movie he's arrested for drugs.

Yea i thought the book had everything go by slower, Bernie had this relationship in the start when it was snowing in new york, and liz goes compltely bald in the book, she was also woken up right before her death and she watched bernie sleep then she died. The book was alot better and not rushed.
