I love how Lizzie criticizes him for what he's eating by looking through his garbage but... isn't she buying his groceries?

I thought that scene was after he finally started getting out on his own. In the beginning, she brings him a bag of groceries and says "this is the last time." Then she tells him he has to start getting out.
