Yes he did, they should have never downgraded Thornburg to coach, if I were Thornburg I would've reported the stewardess to her manager.

Overbooking itself is something thats illegal in normal countries specifically so situations like Thornburg could not arrise. Somehow US still thinks thats acceptable practice (yay lobbying)
