Did Mandy Patinkin actually sing?

Does anyone know if he actually sang with madonna? Or was he lip singing?

"Just because I'm not laughing, doesnt mean I'm not making fun of you."

That was him. He's a singer as well, not just an actor.

Oh wow...I did not know that! He has a great falsetto voice!

Mandy Patinkin's actually been doing Broadway roles since 1979. He's also recorded an album of Stephen Sondheim songs.

Fun Fact for ya... Mandy played Che in the Broadway Musical, Evita (the narrator role...) and Madonna played Evita in the Movie version :)

He won a Tony for the original 'Evita'. He was nominated for a Tony for 'Sunday in the Park with George'. Sondheim, who wrote the music for 'Dick Tracy', calls Mandy's voice 'gift from God'.

If you've only heard his falsetto--are you in for a surprise! You haven't LIVED until you've heard him sing 'Over the Rainbow'.

Look him up on youtube. Many clips on there. Numerous from Letterman.

His 'Mammy', on Letterman, will put you through the wringer. I guarantee.
