okay, i know breathless gets shot by big boy at the end, but right before tracy gives his future adopted son "kid" aka dick tracy jr, his wristband gadget, there's talk about how they got breathless to confess...

so did she die or what?

Actually, they said they got 88 Keys the piano player to confess that Breathless killed Fletcher, 88 Keys knew it was The Blank but I don't think he knew Breathless was The Blank.
