Um...What???? (spoilers)

After all the tough guy talk and slapping and pushing people around, the Mickey Rourke character wimps out and lets Hopkins drag him out of the house?

And the agents open fire on the house with the hostages standing right there?

And agents quietly follow Rourke's girlfriend with a low flying plane and several police cars with flashing lights and screaming sirens..

And nobody drops their gun in this movie..They just stand there, gun in hand, and get riddled with bullets..

There are many "B" westerns that make more sense than this...Wait a minute, Cimino made a "B" western, "Heaven's Gate"..

Without question the most ridiculous part of the movie.

Dunno know about that .... The final scene was so freakin' stupid that I can't believe Hopkins didn't vehemently object to it. A major crime scene with who knows how many bad guys, dead bodies all over and Hopkins walks back into the house and shuts the door, the police pack up and leave as if they had responded to a false alarm ???
Wait, I take that back - even a false alarm would have garnered more interaction with the police. This has to be one of the all time worst endings for a movie.

And as to the scene where Rourkes character goes limp - pretty awful right from the beginning. Hopkins gets a gun, walks into the room where an equally armed Rourke has a gun to his wife and Hopkins chooses that moment to draw on him rather than wait a second or two to catch/distract Rourke with his guard down ?? How freakin' moronic !!

If you remember, Hopkins knew that Rourke's gun wasn't loaded.
