Actually he had the bump before that scene. It is a growth that he elected not to fix, so he has had it pretty much all his career.

That would be the most cut i have ever seen any human in a movie I reckon!!!!
I am showing my Dad this movie as I speak just to show him how huge JC looks in this scene.
