I'm surprised this movie wasn't more influential.


You'd think that once someone came up with the idea of having a ships's computer put into the form of a smoking hot lady in a skintight bodysuit, everyone would do it.

Kind of like after Alien with it's industrial, grungy, lived in look, we saw a lot of SF movies that looked like that. It just made so much sense.

Yes, it was first wasn't it with well used, beaten up ships and machines.

Anyway, why hot chick in tight bodysuit didn't become a popular form factor for super computers of the future in movies is a mystery.
