If you watch any of the White Wolves movies you will see a good chunk of their movies playing a scene from Hatchet. I too read the book back in school a long time ago, but I find it sad that they have to take scenes from the other movie in both "sequels" to the White wolves movies.

I just got done reading the book. It was a good stroy, but the scentences are tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long. It's true. The person who wrote this book does not know when to stop his scentences. I'm not even going to bother seeing the movie.

I loved how vivid the details of the book were; I could clearly imagine myself doing all the same things that Brian did. However, the movie adaptation was kind of a let down. I just thought that if anyone could adapt the book into a film it would have much more potential that this.

I read this book in 4th grade and found it again just a few years ago. I could not get past the first few pages and stored it away. The sentences bothered me so badly and were starting to ruin my childhood memories of how much better the book was being read to us by the teacher at the time. I can get away with my own poor grammar as I am a regular average nobody but as an author, how did his book(s) get past editors?
