I know Joann was grieving over Phil, but it was still somewhat ridiculous that Joann accused an 8-year old of murder when he had not previously shown a clear capability of violence.
I think they should have shown a scene of Andy hitting someone (Kyle or a neighborhood kid) in front of Joann so Joann could at least know that Andy was capable of violence.
I'd have loved to see Andy wailing on that kid who was harassing him at school.

Joann doesn't think Andy killed Phil, she presumes he fell and blames Andy for his death because it wouldn't have happened were Andy not there.
