On AMC right now but I'm disappointed
None of the extra scenes from the Sci-Fi/USA airings are shown, same goes with Child's Play 3.
shareWith most TV programs being transferred to HD masters, it's unlikely that a lot of these TV versions which were created in standard definition full-frame are going to be shown much anymore.

It sucks that the extra footage isn't shown anymore, and with the end credits getting cut, that means that AMC crams a good 40 minutes of commercials into the runtime.

It certainly does but it's to be expected. The amount of time, effort, and money that would be required to show that version of the film would not be cost-effective. I do, however, wish they would have included all the TV scenes in a special edition DVD or Blu-Ray.

They should do special editions for 2, 3, and Bride with the scenes they used in the t.v. airings. Not just for those films, but every movie that has deleted scenes shows in the t.v. versions like the Naked Gun trilogy.
