Has anybody ever had a schoolteacher like Miss Kettelwell?

You gotta be kidding me about this one teacher making your friends' brother undressing down to his underwear and to sit in the corner for the rest of the day just like that, just what exactly was that teacher thinking? She should be banned from teaching cause if a teacher made my child undress down to his underwear as a punishment I would give that teacher something to cry about

My english teacher LOOKS just like Miss Kettelwell.

I've had a few teachers as bad as Miss Kettelwell. One was my first grade teacher, who was very impatient with her students and would chastise anyone who committed the most minor of infractions. I remember when one kid had an "accident" and he went up to her desk, she just berated him in front of everyone and said "I could smack you I'm so angry." My second grade teacher would hit us with a yard stick she kept in the class room. One time she was walking around checking to see if everyone had completed the homework from the previous night. As she walked by to check mine, she stopped and asked me what happened that I didn't finish my work? I looked at her with a confused look and pointed out that I had in fact finished all my work. She then pointed to the right side of my notebook and I had completely missed that entire page. She got so angry that she slapped me across the back with the yard stick and restricted me from going outside during recess. My third grade teacher would make all her students tuck in their shirts (we wore uniforms). After lunch, whenever anyone would come back to class with their shirt untucked, she would make them drop their pants and she would tuck their shirts in in front of the entire class.

She only referred to a student with Asperger's Syndrome as 'Aspergers'

I'm surprised no one slapped the *beep* out of her for saying that! Talk about degrading and being completely insensitive. But geez, I can understand why no one helped her.

To be honest, I didn't think Kettlewell was that bad. I can understand her frustrations having to deal with school children on a daily basis but at the same time I thought it was unfair she didn't give Andy a chance to explain himself.

I had a fifth grade teacher who scared the crap out of her students. She wasn't all too bad but sometimes she had a temper and I think she also had bipolar disorder. I remember when she tried to explain a math problem to me in front of the class, I can honestly tell you I was paralyzed with fear. All I could think was "Try not to piss her off please!" and she happened to be in a better mood than her usual days.

One day when I was in 1st grade, my teacher (Mrs. Fuller was her name, I think) wouldn't allow me to go out for recess because I had an unfinished assignment. Which was fair enough, I suppose. What WASN'T fair was that even after I completed the assignment (in a satisfactory manner, mind you) and turned it in, she STILL wouldn't let me go out to recess! WTF! Being 7 back then, I remember wanting to cry, but didn't.

What a bitch.
