Did anyone notice just how awesome the Simson's house was???

Andy's room was filled with loads of cool toys. They had a huge backyard for the kids to play in. The house was HUGE!!! There were windows along the long hallway where the bedrooms were which allowed a bunch of light to shine through so you would probably never need a light even a night. I loved the house!

The house was huge and really cool with all that space and the huge yard.

BUT THOSE BASEMENT STEPS! Who the hell designed that deathtrap?
I'm surprised nobody has ever fallen down those before or maybe they did.
They looked liked something from an abandoned mineshaft.

I wonder if that house is still there. Can anyone find it on google earth?

I loved how big the house was compared to the cramped small apartment in the first movie. Although I did not care so much color scheme. I did not like the pink and blue.

The colours actually reminded me of Suspiria, a bit.
Not to fan of the porcelain decorations, though

The bright color schemes, especially Blue and Purple variations, were very popular in the early 90s. Childs Play 2 used it incredibly well. Then, it goes Neon in the Factory. I love it.

The house is still standing; it's in Pasadena, CA as the film was mostly filmed in LA.

I actually never found the house very appealing. It has that stale, elderly-people-live-here look. I can almost smell the moth-balls every time I watch this movie.

Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.
