What happened to Re-Animated Meg?

The deleted scene didn't explain much. I still don't know what happened with her re-animated corpse. Why wasn't it sucessful? Why is her heart the only thing left?

It was funny though to hear Herbert say Dr. Hill didn't have the "guts" to kill him LOL.

apparently the fact she was re-animated with a broken neck caused her to die again shortly after

Rufus had a broken back and Dr. Hill was only a head. Why would a broken neck be different?

The first re-animated corpse's listed cause of death was heart failure and it took a bone saw through the chest to kill him.

I guess it's just one of those things.

Well...This is what Dr. Hill says in a deleted scene from the first film upon studying the Re-Animated Dean Halsey.

"1st and 2nd Lumbar vertebrae are crushed...Dorsal ganglia is torn...Inferior cervical ganglion is torn...The neck is broken! Dean Halsey is clearly dead!"

The heart wouldn't have worked for the bride then.

That was a pretty gruesome scene.

I don't know if its still up, and I can't access youtube here at work, but go on there and search Bride of Re-Animator deleted scenes. There was one on there, pretty bad quality, BUT, had they left it in would've made a bit more sense to some of our questions.

The scene is basically what happened AFTER we heard Megan scream. She does speak to Dan for a couple of seconds before dying in his arms (which was referenced in the movie) and as he looks up West is standing there before him. Now, don't quote me on this, however I think there was an explanation as to how Herbert got away as well in this scene.

You guys check it out and see if its on there. Its cool too because they actually get Barbara Crampton to play Meg in it. Someone find it and post it.

God Bless,

Randall
