That is because you try to treat a patient with all the dignity as if they were at full health. You dress the person, you try to feed the person as natural as possible and you communicate with the person, despite not getting a response, all in the name of dignity.
shareThink her prescription would have changed? How would not putting glasses on her that didn't improve her vision take away her dignity? Can you imagine the frustration if she was in there to have them put on glasses that basically did nothing?
