it this movie takes you back to a better day, SPEAK UP!!

i saw this when i was 15 (back in 1990, when it came out), and i loved it so much. i was a big andrew dice clay fan back then. i loved his stand up. i saw this movie and it was just awesome. i must have watched it several times a week for quite a while. now that im an adult and i know how crappy life truly is, i get so much pleasure watching this gem of my youth. i even get a boost just hearing "Cradle of Love" by billy idol. anyone out there feel the same as me?

Sure do. I actually became oppsessed with this movie and the Dice persona.
I adopted the hairstyle annd started smokin.
I think this movie came at exactly the right time when the corny eighties gave way for the cooler nineties. It´s strange that a movie can have such an impact on people, cuzz its not Gone with the wind or Casablanca, but to me this movie is what those movies was for teenagers of those days.

I worked as an usher in my family's movie theatre at the time and my friends and I quoted this movie endlessly. I love all those movies from the late 80's and early 90's, they remind me of the great friends and great times I had.

So many *******...so few bullets..

rock n roll, miniskirts, big hair, awsome action heroes, tough guys, and super vehicles. That was the 80's and early 90's. And I loved it. things made sense. No one was trying to win an award with action movies. it was just pure eye candy and entertainment.

The problem with P.C. is when it goes overboard. Sometimes a guy wants to see a naked women and jsut enjoy the visual without a lecture. You cant reprogram men from wanting to see hot women, you cant reprogram women from wanting to be admired by men.

The hip hop craze is destroying it self just as the heavy metal craze and grnude craze destroyed itself. it's all on a revolving wheel. The 80's are coming back as bands have to explore new sound or old sounds and make them new again, Big hair and parachute and jerri curl will return
