Does anyone know the name of the song Ford plays on his guitar at the beach after his friend Johnny dies?

Renny Harlin on the commentary track says that Dice plays a bit of guitar, and the tune he is playing is a mixture of his own chords.

Hmmm, it's def Wind Cries Mary. Perhaps Renny Harlin is not familiar with classic rock.

Does anyone please know the music played as background on the penultimate scene where Ford, Jazz and the boy are on the beach? I don't think it is on the soundtrack and I really like the music.

I think it's just an improvisation. Very Hendrix-like, which is appropriate!

Its just a simple chord progression...its alot like hendrix but its not wind cries mary or and of the other songs ive seen mentioned on here. It took me about 20 minutes to figure out how to play it...anyone want the tabs Ill try and make some

the credits to the movie have "wind cries mary" peformed by Richie Sambora. which is why is sounds like hendrix but it's not, but it is that song.

wind cries mary, played by Sambora is at the END when he walks into his blown up house, right before he see's smiley...
