For those who have seen the movie...

Here's a question. When Ford and Zoo-Zoo are climbing down the Capitol building and Ford is being attacked by Englund, the camera zooms out, but if you look near the top right you see a light on in one of the rooms and some guy looks like he's playing air guitar. Exactly what is that person doing?

No idea, but he/she might be playing air guitar indeed. There are contests of that thing.

Probably wishing he was hanging out with his best friend, a 1962 Fender Stratocaster, original pick-ups, maple neck, strung up-side down for a left handed *beep* genius, Jimmi Hendrix...

Just a guess (I haven't seen the movie since it first hit cable) but I see it as one of two possibilities.

1) Perhaps a generalization of what Clay/Fairlane did growing up. We've all played air guitar at one time or another and maybe Clay thought it a good homage to his younger self to include that in the film.

2) Perhaps it was the "ghost" of Jimi Hendrix since the guitar just got shattered on the sidewalk. The reasoning being that perhaps the busting up of the guitar somehow released his spirit. The silhouette could have been there as sort of a homage.

Just guesses - and a bit of reaching.
