Any film where Wayne Newton is set on fire...

...can't be ALL bad.

At any rate, I'm not a particularly big fan of Dice...I used to listen to one of his albums back when I was 15, and his feud with Jackie Martling on the Stern show back in the '90s was hilarious...other than that, his shtick has gotten worn out and is kinda sad nowadays.

Having said that, Ford Fairlane WAS amusing, in a cheesy B-movie sort of way. Some scenes had me chuckling just because of the sheer ludicrous nature of them.

I think Dice had some genuine on-screen charisma back in those days and could've been a minor success had he been offered a halfway decent script.

As it is, though, Ford Fairlane was an okay vehicle for him to basically do his stand-up shtick in the context of a feature film. Not good, but not all bad, either.

And major bonus points for the addition of a mustachioed Ed O'Neil.
