A great cast, nice locations, great fencing, classic love romance...,
and then they stop making it
Family Channel Zorro
was my favorite also.
I was disappointed when
it went off the air.

I know why they stopped doing New World Zorro. There were not enough money to continue the show.
I saw the show when I was little and loved it! I found the answer on a New World Zorro-fansite.

Absolutely agree - great show, the best Zorro series ever! More class and creativity than many series on television - It's definitely a top ten! Lots of wonderful talent. Why has this show been so underappreciated for so long!!

I think I also read somewhere that the family channel got bought out and it was a show the new company didn't want to continue.
Ignorance has no end.
Zorro Productions Inc is currently planning to release this Zorro TV series in December 2010 through A&E video. No word yet if it will be a season by season release or a box set of all four seasons. The original pilot (which did not star Duncan Regehr btw) is being included in this release.
