Did this show kill ultimately kill the sitcom?


There have been a few mildly funny and entertaining sitcoms since Seinfeld--King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond, That 70s Show, and the Big Bang Theory--but overall, sitcoms seem to have slowly died since Seinfeld took the format to its zenith in the 1990s. I have tried watching several contemporary sitcoms and the writers clearly have no idea what the word funny means.

Let's face it. Streaming platforms are replacing TV Shows. In about 10 to 20 years there probably won't be any TV stations.
