The first appearance by Larry David as "Man in the Cape", also known as Frank Costanza's Lawyer, was in Season 6 Episode 4, "The Chinese Woman". But he is also listed in the credits on IMDb in the previous episode, "The Pledge Drive". Is that just a mistake in IMDb, or is he in the background in the previous show?

shareI can find nothing to confirm this. I don't have the series via DVD or streaming so I can't say for sure. So until someone can point to where he appears with a screen shot or other proof, as far as I'm concerned I consider this an error on IMDb, or he was in a scene that was deleted. Certainly Jerry and Elaine's reaction in The Chinese Woman indicate he is a never-seen-before character.
