Shout! Factory has said that because of music costs and Season 2 not selling as well as they thought it would, Season 3 may not be happening. If you want to show your support for getting Season 3 released on DVD head on over to Shout! Factory's message board and tell them. It might help.

If the video quality of Season 2 sucked as much as the quality of the first season, I'm not surprised that sales dropped off.
I bought the first season and was greatly disappointed in the grainy sh***y video quality.
I wasn't going to buy the second season until I heard there had been a massive improvement - I guess there wasn't.
I think myself, like most fans would just like season three just to have a complete collection. They might as well just do it anyway.

Never gave season 2 a chance. They screwed me with a bad version of season 1 that was the last chance they had to rip me off on bad quality.
shareWhile this is typical, and somewhat disappointing, I can't say I'm crushed. As a big fan of Parker Lewis Can't Lose, I have to say that the third season - retitled simply "Parker Lewis" - kind of sucked.
I was way more upset about Nickelodeon's last-minute cancellation of the third season of The Adventures of Pete & Pete.
Season 3 may not be coming here in the USA but it will be released at the end of April in Germany. It will be a region 2 version meaning it won't play on most US dvd players unless it is an all-region player.
shareAlthough I'm a huge fan of the show, I don't want Season 3 to be out on DVD. I hated it and there were times that I just turned the TV off. It lost all of the charm of the first two seasons... well, at least until Parker Lewis started dating that ballbuster of a girlfriend (the actress was beautiful and she was a good actress alright, but the character was unbearable). It moved from the highschool scene to the Diner, making everything so... boring and predictable. No thank you. Just for completists. I'm not one of them.

Absolutely 100% correct. Season 3 was awful. I can see the executives right now. They took away what was good about the show - the dynamic of the 3 buds - and totally screwed it up with the 4th character.

Pretend season 3 doesnt exist, everyone. Be thankful it wont be comming out on DVD. It is an affront to PLCL.
They even changed the name just to "Parker Lewis" because he... well, he lost. The worst damage was the departure of Taj Johnson as Lemmer, I think.
