Marilyn
What a GREAT, fun character Marilyn was.
My sig other and I took to doing "Marilyn impressions" to try to emulate her CONSTANTLY deadpan, near-emotionless , straightforward statements on EVERYTHING. We would say lines like "Its on the table" in her voice and make ourselves laugh. Self amusement can be fun.
She made a great foil to the neurotic New York motormouth Dr. Joel. Big laughs every time.
And yet, occasionally, Marilyn WOULD say something with some emotion to it: a flash of anger or sadness.
I can't bring myself to seek out any interviews with the actress who played Marilyn. She did so great with that "special deadpan voice" for all those years that I would be sad to find out that she's ...an animated motormouth?
No...it cannot be. I doubt it.
