I felt bad for Joel that Ed didn't help decorate the tree

Ed just goes off with the other dude to look at a sink hole instead.
Joel was already to decorate the tree while drinking soda and eating ice cream.

Ed was a good friend to Joel most of the time, but other times he was oblivous when Joel was in need of one.

Maybe, but Ed is still a pup. He's, what? Late teens, early 20s during the series? Wish I had been perceptive and sensitive at that age. Also, Joel is always around. How often is Bong going to be in Cicily?
