Which is the last one he appeared in. BTW, is season 6 good enuff to own DVD? I've got the 1st five seasons, but I have a problem with the new doctor, Dr. Phil. I was thinking that maybe I should get over my built in prejudice and give it a try.

Season 6 is great.
Sad that it is ending and there is certainly a shift in tone.
JOel and phil are both on at the same time for part of the season.
The season and series is almost over by the time Joel leaves. Therea are only 8 after he is off the show.
NO reason not to watch the final season. Avoid final seasons of HIMYM or Boardwalk Empire, but NX is great too the end.

The final season is in three parts. Part 1 basically a continuation of season 5. Part 2 joel has a story arc that tranistions him out and Phil in. It ends with him leaving. Final part starts to reboot then realizing its over wind things down.
