Question? At end of 'Sleeping With the Enemy' season 4.why do you think

....after Maurice gave 'permissione' to Duc Kwon and the daughter of his Korean enemy to marry....why do you think Ron and Eric showed up at the end and told Maurice he was getting soft, he folded, he was not acting as a proper Marine should, by giving permission for that marriage? Why would they tell him that?....*I* think there is no love lost between Ron and Eric and Maurice, and they just wanted to twist the knife. Do you think so?? should they have congratulated him on being a decent human being and left it at that? Why the twist at the end?

My answer is they're not parents and don't understand that the last thing you want to see your child unhappy. When your kids hurt, you hurt, it's as simple as that. Yeah, Ron and Eric don't like Maurice and were waiting for any chance to belittle him. God knows he did it enough to them.
