Prescription for Death

Hell of a way to open the series, and thinking about it, medical murders must be some of THE hardest cases for cops to solve, they're not doctors, they don't know if what the doctor says is bullshlt or legitimate. Almost makes it a wonder any of them are ever convicted.

That 1990 ep. 101 Prescription for Murder...set the Law & Order tone for me, and I was hooked!

It has the first of the many, many, memorable L & O lines.

During testimony the medical examiner replied "it's possible that death rays from Mars killed her, but I don't think so... It still makes me laugh.

As well as all the spectators in the courtroom.
