Need to know the verdict on an episode ...

I was watching the L&O marathon Saturday night. Season 5 Episode 3 "Blue Bamboo" with Laura Linney was almost over -- only two minutes left to go -- when my friggin' cable tv went out. She was playing a singer on trial for the murder of a Chinese businessman.

I tried searching the internet to find out the verdict without any luck.

HELP !!! This is driving me crazy.

Here's a link to the script for S5E03 Blue Bamboo:

This section should answer your question:

Madam Foreman, has the jury reached a verdict?
Yes, Your Honor, we have.
On the sole count of the indictment, murder in the Second Degree, how do you find?
We find the defendant not guilty.
The jury is dismissed.
Court is adjourned.

Mr. Nakahara, I'm sorry.
I was in the Midwest last year for the opening of an auto plant. When I left, someone threw paint on my car. It was disturbing, but expected.
My guess, tomorrow the papers will call this a victory for women's rights.
Yeah. And a giant leap for ignorance.

Thanks so much for your quick response. I appreciate it.

I also like the link that you provided -- for future reference.

Another case that shouldn't have even been prosecuted! Should have offered something minor, taken a few lumps and gone on with her life! After her story came out, no jury was going to convict her! DA's are paid to make those calls; Jack thinks money grows on trees and he goes for the "death penalty" for littering on the court house steps!  ;-/

She was lying, she should've been convicted. Plus she wouldn't take any plea deal.

Thinking of it in IRL! I remember she didn't think she did anything wrong! ;-/
