Connie Rubirosa was a baby.

On the episode where they go after the wife for killing her husband for allegedly having an affair with a teenage client. Cutter asks her to cross examine the suspect because he notices a member of the jury "checking her out". She complains that Cutter was "pimping her out" to the jury. And suggest they tell the judge. (Risking a mistrial. The suspect had virtually confessed on the stand. And as Cutter said, "She wasn't going to do it again".)

What a baby !!! Like she has never been found attractive by a man before. And like she has never used it to her advantage. What is the big deal? Even the admiring jurist respected her as a professional. Ridiculous !!! She is willing to let a murderer go free because she is attractive !!!

Cutter should've asked her about it, I can get that she was angry that Cutter did use her attractiveness to help the case. But yeah, I agree with their decision not to go to the judge, McCoy was right with what he said.

Xeliou, you don't think it was juvenile, naive and ridiculously idealistic of her to think her attractiveness doesn't affect others? Why does she go through all her efforts everyday to get her hair fixed, her make-up right, dieting, exercising and dressing so well if it wouldn't have any affect on others?

She's not holier than thou! Remember when the Public Defenders were shorthanded or went on strike? Connie took on a client and she did not perform her duties as zealously as she were truly a defense attorney! She had the guy accepting a plea that wasn't worth the paper it was printed on with her assistance! She couldn't let him get away and showed she plays both sides if it suits her! ;-/

Thank you Naibac. I wasn't sure which episode it was. I was watching a Law & Order marathon, sliding in and out of sleep, and I wasn't sure exactly which episode it was.

Maybe it would have been best if he told her before. But he did end up telling her after. It wasn't like he asked her to arch her back, stick her butt and boobs out, shake her butt, and flirt with the jury. He only wanted her to be the competent professional she always was. Which is what she would have done anyway. Thank you for saying she overreacted a bit.

I agree with what you said, Rubirosa overreacted but Cutter should've told her about his idea.
