Final Episode in the UK

The UK has only been 6 years behind the US air dates and we have just had the final episode last night. I think I have been watching this show for about 20 years, and pretty much every week has been of a consistent high quality, fitting in so much drama and great story writing into 45 minutes is incredible and although there are bigger shows on TV, no other show has a new story every week written to such a high standard.

So long to all at the 27th Precinct, you'll be missed.

Is Law and Order:UK ever coming back? I'll get the box set if not. I loved how the writers took the American stories and made them pure British. Occasionally, dialects were murky, but watched enough episodes to finally catch on.

Jamie Bamber has done at least two American shows, Cold Case (now out of syndication) and Rizzoli and Isles, which has been cancelled. Feh.

Actually UK terrestrial freeview broadcaster 5USA is 6 years behind the US, UK Satellite channel Sky One showed the last season 1 year after it aired.
