I think Anna Ford was by far the best guest presenter, she delivered the jokes like they should be delivered, as a news reader she is obviously very apt at this.
If they were to have a permanent host then I would hope it would be Anna Ford. If not then I hope she atleast guests on many more occasions.
I thought Anna Ford was excellent. Definitely one of the better choices. Although she has a history of comedy association - she features in one of the Secret Policeman's Ball films, beating up Terry Jones.
I also thought Kirsty Young did very well - very dry, and obviously with her own subtle sense of humour. Since Angus Deayton's delivery was always supposed to be quite newsreadery, replacing him with an actual newsreader would be quite apt, with the added advantage that they would know what they were talking about...

She was great. Although she's getting on a bit, she's still pretty too.
