I was wondering if anyone had any idea if Piers Morgan made more than one appearance on HIGNFY? i seem to remember him being a guest presenter or possibly being a guest again around the same time he got in trouble for the forged photos.
I'm not sure if he appeared again after his infamous performance the first time round. I do remember Paul and Ian saying on the DVD commentary that he had asked to appear again the week that Angus was in the papers, but this was obviously refused by the programme makers.
Someone may correct me soon. I'm certain he's never been a guest host though.

Just the one show for Piers. He's a smarmy git, but I would like to see him on again just so Ian can metaphorically bitch slap him for half an hour. It was most entertaining.

The only reason I ask is because I thought I remembered Paul laying into him for being a complete ass after the faked iraq war picture thing and I've only seen a clip on youtube of the other episode when he 'abused' Ian. Maybe I'm blending Ian's rant on Question Time into some sort of anti-Piers tirade? or more reasonably Paul did rant about it but Morgan wasn't on the show.

I think it was Paul who kept referring to him as "liar" or something, taking advantage of the fact that he was a liar and couldn't be sued for libel. But that might be Lord Archer...
And when Piers got sacked from the NotW Ian and Griff Rhys Jones had a little dig at him for a while, and they showed a clip of his "sparkling performance" on the show. Paul Merton wasn't ever on the show with Morgan, it was in the series in which Paul made one appearance.

Piers Morgan is an odious little *beep* PM once phoned up Ian's parish priest to ask questions about him, and another time he sent photographers round to IH's house. Therefore Ian hates the sight, sound and even mention of him.
"Who likes Ian"? (audience cheered).
"Who likes Piers"? (audience booed).

I agree that PM is a git - did anyone catch him on 8 out of 10 cats the other night? He was completely rinsed.
