It's been mentioned several times that Ian is short. Has his height ever been mentioned? Paul is 6'3 so he can call anyone short. Angus is 5'9 and has called Ian short so he must be in between. Following that ratio, I'd expect Ian to be 5'3. Any clues?

Come on. Someone here must have stood next to him or passed him on the street at some point.
I walked past him once on Oxford street when i was about 16 (11 years ago! He was the first 'famous' person i had seen in real life) and he was shorter than me. I'm 6'2" now, so that doesn't really help...

5'7'' is not really small enough to be mocked. Ok, Richard Hammond is that height but he's always next to 6'5'' Clarkson. After having seen him on Room 101, he's just under Merton's chin, probably about 10 inches shorter. 5'5'' is my guesstimate.
