anyone know where/how to find tickets online? there's probably been a topic like this before, but i scrolled back a bit and couldn't find one... also, how far in advance does one need to buy the tickets? b/c i'm going to the UK next summer so I'm already looking, but is that even far enough in advance?.... yet another question: is there an age limitation? i'll be 17 at the time, I know Mock the Week and Graham Norton require you to be 18 to be in the audience.... thanks to anyone who replies...

No series coming up just yet, but put this site on your favourites and keep a watch on it.
There is an age limit on HIGNFY but I don't recall whether it's 15 or 18 (it's not as risque as Mock The Week or Graham Norton), but nor do they ask for ID papers at the door, so unless you look particularly youthful I really don't think you'll have a problem. If they ask your age, you can always lie, or you could take a friend who can vouch for you being a young-looking 18. 17 is practically 18 anyway.
You won't have to pay for the tickets - they're free.
However, HIGNFY is a very popular show, so tickets aren't guaranteed. The usual drill with these things is that you can fill in an online form requesting tickets on a given date. You'll need to provide an address for them to be sent to, and you won't know if you've got tickets until a week or two before the date in question.
It's definitely worth going, though. Just be aware that because it's a popular show, they give out more tickets than there are seats (they want to guarantee a full audience) so it's always a good idea to arrive early and join the queue.
I suggest you keep a close eye on the Hat Trick and BBC Websites - the tickets go quick. In the old days when people applied by telephone it was a bit manic, and they'd run out in about 24 hours...
