Wasn't Rolf brilliant!

I've never had anything against old Rolf, but I've never been a big fan either... Still I've got to say, he really made it a great show this week.

Can't you read? It says SPOILERS!

reply

Totally agreed. I thought his episode would be rubbish, but it was really good. Was the best of this series I reckon!

I like Rolf, and I missed this episode when it first aired. Just watching it now, it's one of the best episode's I've seen in a while. They definetly got a good week though with all the MP expenses. Is there a more vile woman than Hazel Blears, probably Harriet Harman or Jacqui Smith, but that's about it. Where do Labour get these women from, I like Kate Hoey and Diane Abbot's not too bad but the rest are so wet and mousey, it makes me wonder who votes for them?!?

reply

Yeah, Rolf was good, actually. It was like the Bruce Forsyth episode for me, because here was someone I've known about all my life, yet had never had any interest in the shows/music he's produced, but bringing that light-entertainment persona into HIGNFY and capitalising on it worked well - as a one-off, at any rate. It was the Forsyth episode that really had me in stitches, though - sheer ridiculous hilarity.

He porked his daughter's sexy teen friend... consensually.

He's a legend.

reply

What did he actually do that was illegal?

reply

Rolf Harris was found guilty on all twelve of the sexual assault charges against 4 girls that he was charged with. Only 1 of the 12 sexual assault charges related to someone who was over the age of consent at the time of the incident.

Still no details on what he actually did.

reply

This is a good description of the charges Harris was found guilty of - from 30th June 2014. As it also includes details of some of the controversial issues surrounding the trial - such as vagueness about the dates some of the incidents took place and the prosecution being unable to provide supporting evidence to prove that Harris was at a specific location in one case.
