Are there people in real life who get treated like that by their friends?
I know the show is for comedic effect, but don't you think at some point Carlton would've just punched out Will?

Carlton would have to stand on a stack of 20 chairs to reach Will's face.

Wow, that was not nice!

To be fair though, Carlton did try to get back at Will some times. But he mostly failed.

Not nice, but exactly the same kind of put down Will would use on Carlton.

lol ikr! and in reality will wasn't that much taller than carlton, he may have had him by inches but it's not like he was a basket ball star's height lol 

I guess you all haven't seen the episodes Cold War and grumpy young men in which will and Carlton square off and Carlton beat his ass both times. He also out danced him in the Soul Train episode.

is one of those episodes the one where carlton's hands were glued to his head and he still got will good and even made his nose bleed lol 

I agree, they kinda over-did the height jokes on Carlton to the point where it just felt mean spirited.

There was a moment when Carlton got ticked off at Will. Remember the time Will sets up a double date for him and Carlton and the girl he is dating likes Carlton more? Well, he puts some sort of glue in Carlton's hair gel so his hands are stuck to his head. At some point, Carlton even says that the way Will acts towards women is childish now that he is in college.

Carlton was a jerk! He would get Will in trouble in every episode!

Not really. Carlton didn't rat Will out about the drugs in the locker in the episode "Just Say Yo."

In the beginning Carlton was a snobbish overachiever who was an equal rival to Will But eventually they turned him into a spoiled brat, dork who wished he was more like Will. Will did make fun of Carlton as Carlton made fun of Will, but the sad thing was that the rest of the family treated Carlton as a joke as well. I would've thought that Will would been a little nicer to Carlton after he almost died from taking Will's pills. Would've it also have killed the writers to give Carlton a steady girlfriend for several episodes?
