Valeria should have figured that out when he was yelling at her because she couldn't get him out of prison. No personal responsibility at all. So he moves on from Kelly for Valerie without a second thought because it was convenient. Makes Valerie responsible for rescuing him from prison, yells at her when it's not looking well. And then leaves screwing Valerie over with the bail money. Not that Valerie doesn't have the Karma coming to her but he is so unlikable.

Val was pathetically deluded when it came to Colin - and all because he’d gone from Kelly to her. She really reveled in that. She even convinces herself she’d stolen him from her. I love too how she practically badgers him into going to that party, not to get his mind off things but to “show him off”. She was with “Kelly’s guy” and wanted everyone, especially Kelly, to see it. She was so caught up in this that she didn’t see the warning signs – didn’t see Colin for the self-serving scum he was.

Ditching Val was the only thing I didn't like about Colin. She thought they had a real connection as the two who were never fully accepted by the nine-oh crüe.
I just finished this season and the whole time I was thinking: Colin is such a loser. When Val sincerely told him she loved him, I thought: you gotta be kidding. The guy is a user, not only of drugs but of people, especially the women in his life.
