I think that Valerie was so pretty at the beginning of season 5. She had nice hair and minimal makeup. Then they started to dress her differently, and she wore too much makeup and her hair was jet black. She certainly didn't need to wear all of that makeup. She even looked a little orange-ish in Season 7.

shareShe looked horrible with the vampiress make up and black hair. I think anyone would have looked bad that way. But with her face shape and how busty she was it was a particularly harsh look for her.
She looked her very best when she was down in South America with Dylan...her hair was a natural brown and her makeup was soft.
